¡Merry New Year!

Aloha. We hope your 2011 is off to a bright start - surely a rare update on the continuing activities of your favorite classic rock band ISIS will only add to the excitement of the new year.

February 1st will see the (re)release of our second album "Oceanic" on vinyl thanks to our pals at Robotic Empire. The double - LP comes housed in a heavyweight tip-on gatefold jacket and has been remastered and recut for optimal sound quality.

We have finally created an "official" facebook page. You can check it out here. We're also diligently trying to finish up a couple other "new" releases. More news about that on the facebook page for sure.

We've all been pretty busy on our own various projects, bands, and other tangents -

Mamiffer  and House Of Low Culture  have some new releases available: Oakeater split LP and Mamiffer / House Of Low Culture split LP/CD. Both LP's are available from SIGE Records  and the CD available from Utech Records . Mamiffer will be appearing at this years Roadburn Festival while on a spring tour of Europe in April. Aside from the festival they'll also be performing with the likes of Pharoah Overloard, Aluk Todolo, House Of Low Culture, Black Math Horsemen, and Menace Ruine in various cities / countries. The tour will be in support of their new album "Mare Decendrii" coming out on March 15.

"Windmills By The Ocean II" will also be released on February 1st by Robotic Empire. Clifford Meyer and company will be playing a few New England shows in the spring to celebrate, stay up to date through their facebook page. Taiga, Clifford's ambient kraut psycho solo project, recently released "Taiga II - Flora Chor" on Conspiracy Records. Perhaps 2011 will also bring a live Taiga performance or two.

Michael Gallagher has a new MGR release out - the soundtrack to the Belgian film "The 22nd Of May." More info can be found here: http://www.conspiracyrecords.com/store/store_detail.php?id=9952. Work has also begun on a new MGR album.

From the mixing desk of Aaron Harris:
"Post ISIS, I've teamed up with my friend and fellow recording engineer Justin Hopfer. Together we have started a recording / producing team. We recently mixed and mastered a record for Willeum, a two-piece from Saskatchewan, Canada. you can hear the songs "Legends" and "Torrential" from their forthcoming record here: www.facebook.com/WilleumBand. Justin and I also just finished tracking Lesser Key's first full-length record; the St. Louis-based band previously released an EP recorded and mixed by Sylvia Massey entitled "Parallels." Justin and I start mixing the record in February. Meantime, I will be joining Tool on their upcoming tour as Danny Carey's drum tech. The first show will be in Hawaii, then on to New Zealand and Australia for the Big Day Out festival, as well as a few side shows. I'm honored and excited to be a part of this tour and equally excited to see our friends Jakob, who'll be opening a few Tool side-shows in Australia. Speaking of Jakob, they've asked me to record their next recordm which they are currently writing new material for. Hopefully tracking will start in the fall of this year. If you'd like to get in touch with me about recording / mixing, or if you want to read more about what i've been up to, all of my info is available on my website: www.cargocollective.com/AaronHarris."

Graçias!
